Ashley Erwin

Hello! My name is Ashley and I live in Colorado with my husband and two sons. My husband, Ryan, is a Sergeant and I work full time for a local county office, and with two young boys to raise we feel it’s vital to experience adventures as a family and provide them with memories of fun and exciting new places. We have made it a point to travel at least once a year; we especially love road trips and destinations far from our Colorado home. Our family’s favorite destinations are the Gulf Coast in Alabama and Florida and Walt Disney World in Florida as well. We have been multiple times to each location and try to experience something new every time we go. As someone who is also “differently-abled” as a below-knee amputee, it’s very important to me to show others with physical limitations that adventures don’t need to stop! My hope is that I can help someone else find a way to experience a once in a lifetime vacation or annually help them book their favorite destinations that they otherwise thought would be impossible to experience. Need a wheelchair on the beach? How about a scooter to help navigate the Magic Kingdom at Disney World? Would you find extra convenience with an accessible hotel accommodation or prefer a ground floor room so you don’t need to trek upstairs? Let me help you! It was so important to me that when I became an amputee, it wouldn’t slow me down or limit my experiences in life, but instead it would let me finally live life to the fullest. As a mom and a wife, I want to see the world with my family and do it all whether it’s driving my scooter through the World Showcase at Epcot or navigating Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico and testing my abilities. I hope I can help someone else “differently-abled” along the way too!
